Managing your Inbox
Sort and review incoming conversations, and keep an eye on your monthly submission usage as feedback comes in.
The Inbox is the first tab on every box page — it's where submissions arrive as conversations and where your team decides what to handle next. Each card shows the subject, a preview of the latest message, who it's assigned to, message count, and how recently it was updated.
Inbox tabs
Four tabs split your conversations, each with a live count:
- All — everything in the box.
- Assigned to me — open conversations assigned to you.
- Unassigned — open conversations nobody has picked up yet. This is the default view.
- Closed — conversations your team has closed.
Clicking a conversation opens it so you can read the full thread and reply — see Reply to anonymous feedback.
Search, filters, and sorting
The search box matches subjects, message content, and assigned teammates. The Filters button opens a panel with five filter groups: Priority, Sentiment, Activity Level (single message, multiple, very active), Date Range, and Category. Sentiment and category filters work best with AI analysis switched on — see AI sentiment & categorization.
The sort menu offers Recently updated (default), Recently created, Oldest first, Subject A-Z, and Most messages. Date-based sorts group conversations under headers like "Today" and "Yesterday". Long inboxes load in pages — click Load more at the bottom to fetch the next batch.
The Export button next to the sort menu takes your conversations with you — see Export conversations to CSV.
The usage bar
If your plan has a monthly submission limit, a bar above the list shows your usage — for example, "3 / 5 submissions this month." No feedback is ever lost: submissions over the cap are stored safely and shown as locked "New submission" entries, with a "waiting" count in the bar. They unlock automatically at the month rollover, or immediately when you upgrade. See Submission limits & locked submissions.
If your Inbox is empty
A brand-new box shows a "No conversations yet" prompt with a Copy link button — share that link (or embed the widget, or print a flyer) and submissions will start arriving. See Share your box.
