Board settings & status

Each board has its own Settings tab — open Boards, click a board, then click Settings. This is where you control the board's identity, visibility, submission rules, and public appearance. Most changes are saved with the Save Changes bar that appears when something is edited; the board icon saves instantly when you pick it.

Board identity

• Board Icon — an emoji shown next to the board in the app. Click it to pick a new one.
• Board Name — the internal name shown in the board switcher.
• Board URL — the slug in the board's public address (non-default boards only). Changing it breaks links you've already shared, so update any flyers or embeds afterward.

Status: Live or Private

The Enable Public Board toggle controls whether anyone can view and vote on the board. The same status is exposed as the Live / Private toggle on the board's card and in its page header, so you can flip it without opening Settings. A private board keeps all of its suggestions, votes, and comments — it's just unreachable until you enable it again.

Public submissions

• Allow Public Submissions — lets anyone submit new suggestions from the public page. Turn it off to run a read-and-vote-only board where only your team posts.
• Require Approval — holds public submissions in the Pending tab until your team approves them. See Manage, merge & moderate suggestions for the review flow.

Appearance

Four fields control the public page's copy. Leave any of them blank to use the defaults:

• Board Header — the title at the top of the public board.
• Board Description — the text shown below the header.
• Submission Form Title and Submission Form Description — the heading and helper text on the public submission form.

Default board & deleting

Non-default boards have a Danger Zone with two actions. Make default promotes the board to answer your company's bare board URL (jellyform.com/board/your-company) — this is reversible. Delete board permanently removes the board along with all of its suggestions, votes, and comments; you'll be asked to type the board's name to confirm, and it cannot be undone. The default board itself can't be deleted.
