Connect Slack

Connect Slack to get a message in a channel of your choice whenever something happens in your feedback boxes — new feedback, team replies, and conversation assignments. Available on Team and Business plans.

You need to be an owner or admin of the company to manage integrations.

Connect with one click

1. Open your company settings and go to the Integrations tab.
2. Turn on the Slack toggle.
3. Click Add to Slack. You'll be sent to Slack to authorize JellyForm.
4. Pick the channel where notifications should go and confirm.
5. You'll land back on the Integrations tab with a confirmation showing the connected channel.

Once connected, you'll see a green Connected to #your-channel banner on the Slack card, and feedback notifications will start posting to that channel.

Or paste a webhook URL manually

If you prefer, you can use a Slack incoming webhook you've already created. With the Slack toggle on, paste the webhook URL into the Your Slack Webhook URL field and click Save. Notifications go to whatever channel that webhook points at.

What gets posted

Slack messages are sent for:

• New feedback conversations — someone submitted feedback to one of your boxes.
• New messages — an anonymous follow-up from a respondent, or a reply from your team.
• Conversation assignments — a conversation was assigned to a teammate.

Each message names the box it came from and, where available, includes the conversation subject, a preview of the message text, and the AI-detected sentiment and categories. A View Conversation link takes you straight to the conversation in JellyForm.

Turning it off

Flip the Slack toggle off on the Integrations tab to stop notifications. Your connection details are kept, so turning it back on later doesn't require reconnecting.

If it's still not working, reconnect with Add to Slack to refresh the webhook, or contact support from the chat bubble on this page.
