Connect Microsoft Teams

Connect Microsoft Teams to post feedback alerts to a Teams channel — new feedback, replies, and conversation assignments show up as cards with a link back to the conversation. Available on Team and Business plans.

You need to be an owner or admin of the company to manage integrations. The connection uses a Teams incoming webhook, which you create in Teams and paste into JellyForm.

Set it up

1. Open Microsoft Teams and go to the channel where you want notifications.
2. Click the ... menu on the channel and select Connectors.
3. Search for Incoming Webhook and configure it. Give it a name (for example, "JellyForm") and create it.
4. Copy the webhook URL Teams gives you.
5. In JellyForm, open your company settings, go to the Integrations tab, and turn on the Microsoft Teams toggle.
6. Paste the webhook URL into the Your Microsoft Teams Webhook URL field and click Save.

What gets posted

JellyForm posts a card to your channel for:

• New feedback conversations — a fresh submission in one of your boxes.
• New messages — an anonymous follow-up from a respondent or a reply from your team.
• Conversation assignments — a conversation was assigned to a teammate.

Cards name the box, and include the conversation subject, sentiment, categories, and a preview of the message when available, plus a View Conversation button that opens the conversation in JellyForm.

Turning it off

Flip the Microsoft Teams toggle off on the Integrations tab to stop notifications. Your saved webhook URL stays in place if you want to re-enable it later.

If cards stop arriving, the webhook may have been removed on the Teams side — recreate the incoming webhook in Teams and paste in the new URL. Still stuck? Reach out to support from the chat bubble on this page.
