Create a public voting board

Create a public board where anyone can post suggestions and vote on what matters most. Available on Team plans and above.

A board is a public page where anyone can post suggestions, upvote the ones they care about, and discuss them in comments — all anonymously. It works alongside your feedback boxes: boxes collect private, one-to-one feedback, while a board lets your whole audience see and prioritize ideas together.

Boards are available on Team and Business plans.

Create your board

  1. Open Boards in the app navigation (/app/board).
  2. Click New Board.
  3. Enter a Board name, for example "Product Ideas". Names can be up to 60 characters.
  4. Check the Board URL. It is generated from the name automatically, but you can edit it. This becomes the public address, shown below the field as jellyform.com/board/your-company/your-board.
  5. Click Create Board.

New boards start private — nobody can see them until you enable them. After creating a board you land on its Settings tab, where you can adjust how it looks and behaves before going live. See Board settings & status for the full list of options.

Make it live

When you're ready, flip the Live / Private toggle — it appears on each board's card on the Boards page and in the header of the board's management page. You can also turn on Enable Public Board in the board's Settings tab. Once live, anyone with the link can view the board and vote on suggestions.

You can switch a board back to Private at any time. Nothing is deleted — the public page simply stops being reachable until you enable it again.

Default board and board limits

One of your boards is marked Default. The default board answers your company's main board link (jellyform.com/board/your-company), while every other board has its own URL with the board's slug at the end. You can make a different board the default from its Settings tab.

The number of boards you can create depends on your plan. If you hit the limit, JellyForm will prompt you to upgrade before creating another one.

Next step: share your board so people can start posting and voting.
