Set up a custom domain
Serve your feedback boxes and conversation links from your own domain. Available on the Business plan.
A custom domain lets your feedback links live on your own hostname — for example feedback.yourcompany.com instead of jellyform.com. Visitors see your domain in the address bar, and SSL certificates are provisioned automatically. Available on the Business plan.
Add your domain
- Open Organization Settings from the company dropdown and go to the Custom Domains tab.
- Click Add Domain.
- Enter the full domain you want to use (e.g., feedback.yourcompany.com).
- Optionally check Redirect to main app if you want this domain to forward visitors instead of serving pages, and pick a 301 (permanent) or 302 (temporary) redirect.
- Click Add Domain.
Configure your DNS
Until your DNS is set up, the domain shows a Pending badge and a "DNS Configuration Required" panel with the exact records to add:
- Subdomains (like feedback.yourcompany.com) usually need a CNAME record — the panel shows the name and value to use.
- Root domains (like yourcompany.com) usually need an A record instead.
- If the domain is already linked to another account, a TXT verification record is also required to prove ownership — the panel shows it when needed.
- Click Copy Instructions to copy the records shown for your domain.
- Add those records at your DNS provider (the service where you manage the domain, such as Cloudflare, GoDaddy, or Namecheap).
- Back in JellyForm, click Verify on the domain.
Once verification succeeds, the badge changes to Added and a Visit link appears. DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate, so if verification fails at first, wait a while and click Verify again.
If you add a root domain, JellyForm suggests adding www.yourdomain.com as a companion — click Add www on the tip that appears so both versions work.
What your domain serves
With a verified domain, your public feedback box links and the private conversation links respondents use both work on your domain — share your box as https://feedback.yourcompany.com/b/your-box-slug. The domain's homepage shows a simple page with your company logo. Pair this with your logo and accent color for a fully branded experience — see Logo, accent color & hiding JellyForm branding.
Remove a domain
Click Delete on the domain's card and confirm. Links on that domain stop working immediately; your regular JellyForm links keep working as always.
If verification still fails after 24 hours and your DNS records match the panel exactly, contact us at support@jellyform.com.
