Manage, merge & moderate suggestions

Merge duplicate suggestions, moderate what appears publicly, and keep your board tidy.

Everything on your board is managed from the app: open Boards, click a board, and you'll land on its Suggestions tab. From here you can review, edit, merge, and moderate everything visitors have posted.

Active, Pending & Archived

Suggestions are split across three sub-tabs:

  • Active — everything currently visible on the public board.
  • Pending — public submissions waiting for review. This tab only fills up if Require Approval is turned on in the board's settings. Each pending suggestion has an Approve button (it goes live as Open) and a Reject button (it's deleted).
  • Archived — suggestions you've taken off the public board without deleting them.

Like the public page, you can sort each tab by Top, Newest, or Oldest.

Edit, change status, lock, or delete

Every suggestion card has a three-dot menu with the moderation actions:

  • Edit — reword the title or description, for example to fix typos or remove sensitive details.
  • Change Status — set the suggestion to open, closed, archived, or pending. Open and closed both show publicly with a status badge; archived hides the suggestion from the public board.
  • Lock Comments / Unlock Comments — freeze a discussion while keeping it readable.
  • Delete — permanently remove the suggestion. This cannot be undone.

You can also join discussions directly: your comments post with a Team badge, and you can pin one comment to the top of a thread or delete any comment.

Merge duplicate suggestions

When two suggestions ask for the same thing, choose Merge from the three-dot menu, pick the open suggestion to merge into, and confirm. Votes and reactions from both are combined, so nobody's support is lost and your board stays tidy.

Add suggestions yourself

Click New Suggestion to post on behalf of your team — useful for seeding a new board or turning private feedback into a public idea. In the modal, the Write for Board button uses AI to rewrite your draft for public display, removing names, private details, and sensitive information before it goes live. If you have more than one board, a board picker lets you choose where the suggestion lands.

For the settings that control approval and public submissions, see Board settings & status.
