Reply to anonymous feedback
Open a conversation and write back — the feedback giver stays anonymous while the conversation continues both ways.
Every submission in JellyForm becomes a two-way conversation. You can write back to the person who sent the feedback, ask follow-up questions, and keep the thread going — all while they stay anonymous.
The feedback giver reads your replies through their private conversation link, so they never need an account or an email address to continue the conversation.
Send a reply
- Open a conversation from your Inbox. You'll see the subject at the top and the full message thread below it.
- Type your response in the reply box at the bottom of the thread.
- Send it. Your reply appears in the thread immediately and becomes visible on the feedback giver's private conversation link.
Sending a reply also assigns the conversation to you automatically, so your teammates can see who's handling it. The conversation view refreshes on its own every few seconds, so new messages from the feedback giver show up without a page reload.
What the feedback giver sees
Your replies show your name as the sender, so the feedback giver knows a real person answered. They stay anonymous the entire time — replying never reveals who they are. For details on what you can and can't see about them, read What box owners can and can't see.
Manage the conversation
The actions menu in the top-right corner of a conversation lets you:
- Close Conversation or Reopen Conversation — closed conversations can't receive new replies; the reply box is replaced with a "This conversation has been closed" notice.
- Change Priority — Low, Normal, High, or Urgent. Priorities other than Normal appear as a badge under the subject.
- Add to Board — turn the feedback into a suggestion on a public voting board.
- Archive — move the conversation out of your active list without deleting it.
- Delete Conversation — permanent, and asks you to confirm first.
Work faster with AI and your team
If AI draft replies are enabled for the box, a suggested response appears above the reply box that you can send as-is or edit. You can also assign the conversation to a teammate or leave internal notes that the feedback giver never sees.
